Letters of Helen Lynn
Beautiful Minnesota poetry 3 by Helen Lynn
Country sunshine lights her eye
She sings on barefoot pathways
The roses bloom on her long, blonde hair
We love in the morning bloom.
You have lips of cherry blooms
You sing of friendly hearts
Yes! Roses warm with fire love you
May you walk in country sunshine.
I love to see
The flaming leaves
Kissed by the sun
Like I kiss you in Autumn.
The blooming rose does flame her lips
When piece by piece
We kiss the night goodbye
Stars shine candlelight
Among her yellow locks
While day hovers over dawn.
Her smiling face
Does bring the morning lakes in flame
She sings pink love in lilac time
And roses bloom in her footsteps.
Her face is a blossom
Like leaves touched by the Autumn
She speaks sunshine to me
Before the dawning of winter.

I love to kiss her wine dark lips
Where star leaves burn
Where leaves storm scarlet
In the Autumn.
Fiery stars like diamonds
Sparkle in her eye
Roses melt in her mouth
Hungry for a kiss.
Her eyes that wink
Say violets think
And she is storming pretty
Today, tonight
The candles fire
Among her blossom locks.
She speaks candlelight in rose time
That's how she comes to me
With stars that bloom
On my love's lips
Like diamonds in the sky.
She kissed me with a rainbow
And I gave her my love storm
We love in Autumn wonder
And we kiss the winter white.
I love to kiss her wine dark lips
Where star leaves burn
Where leaves storm scarlet
In the Autumn.
