Letters of Helen Lynn
Beautiful Minnesota poetry 2 by Helen Lynn
Love blushes her cheeks
She sings in the dancing leaves
Golden leaves fall where she walks
And she speaks rainbows to me.
When roses wind among the rocks
Then yellow locks do mount and fall
As children grasp them, breaking free
Placing a kiss, where a rose does bloom.
She is as soft as gold
And diamonds curl upon her dress
She sings in silver breath
While roses grow in puddles
Where she walks.
Her kisses are blossoms of honey
To me who dwells
On thunder curling rocks
Where mountains speak in silence.
Softly o'er the soaring sea
She's blowing violets at me
Where rush the sky
From out her eye
In bed among the morning leaves.
Carved to shine among the cold
Seeking violets unfold
And burn their lips
Among the faint of night.

There within the silver scenery
Fallen golden on her locks
Sings a starlight fire magnet
Dancing lonely -- o'er the yore.
Curly o'er the wandering wave
Come quick, my love
Broken free, no more of chains
Breathe in dreams of me.
Now does magnetic fire sing of love
But points do talk of hate
And I do ask
When pregnant winter wills
Can good and ill exist in twain?
Her eyes bloom honey love
While mountain stars shine
Roses scream on her lips
Waiting to be kissed.
Her eyes are mountain stars
That shine on pools of water
She sings a rainbow song
Beneath the waterfall.
When music torn from me does pour
For love of yellow roses
When dancing petals tumult
On an ocean's wildest beach
Then I my song rekindle
With a mountain's falling music
Streamed.
